MoTi Privacy Policy

MoTi (“the app”) takes your privacy seriously. The app does not collect or upload any personal information. This policy explains how your data is handled.
1. What we don’t collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (name, phone, email, location, device identifiers, etc.). Everything you create in the app — imported question banks, answer history, mistakes, favorites — is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to us or any third party.
2. Camera & photos
“Scan to search” uses the camera only when you actively open it. Captured images are processed on-device for text recognition and matching — never uploaded to any server or stored in the cloud. We do not access your photo library unless you explicitly pick an image for recognition.
3. Network & offline
Core features (bank import, practice, mistake book, scan-search, text search) run entirely on-device and need no network. The optional AI-explanation model, once you choose to download it, also runs on-device and offline.
4. Third parties
The app integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
5. Purchases & membership
Membership (a weekly auto-renewable subscription and a one-time lifetime unlock) is handled by the Apple App Store. We do not collect, access, or store your payment information; transactions are processed by Apple under its own privacy policy.
6. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Data security & your control
Because data lives only on your device, its security is protected by your device’s own mechanisms. You can delete banks and records inside the app at any time, or uninstall the app to remove all local data.
8. Policy updates
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date.
